THE Northern Echo has secured free flights to Dublin from Teesside International Airport for every one of our readers.

The offer, which begins today, means readers can enjoy a visit to the Irish capital by collecting three passwords in The Northern Echo this week.

Budget airline Ryanair has set up a website, www.ryanair.com/member/necho.html, which can only be accessed with the passwords, to be published today, tomorrow and Wednesday.

Readers must book their free flights online and will pay only £22 per person for airport taxes, fees, charges and insurance.

Carol Bellinger, The Northern Echo's promotions manager, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our readers this amazing deal.

"Dublin is a fantastic city, which is perfect for those after a short break, a Christmas shopping trip or a longer, more relaxing stay."

A trip to the vibrant city of Dublin will appeal to readers young and old as it has something to offer everyone.

The capital has 1,000 pubs in which to sample a pint of Guinness or a shot of whiskey and listen to traditional music.

It is renowned for having one of the most bustling nightlifes in Europe, with numerous bars, clubs and restaurants to choose from.

Dublin also has much to offer the culture vulture, from museums, art galleries and ancient castles to Trinity College, where many of Ireland's greatest writers studied.

For shopaholics, there is an abundance of great stores, from the big High Street names in Grafton Street to quirkier outlets in Temple Bar.

Sport fans can visit the races at Leopardstown, test their handicap on one of Dublin's many golf courses, or experience Gaelic football and hurling, the country's national sports, at Croke Park.

Adventurous types could try a scramble up the Dublin Mountains for a breathtaking view of the city.

For those looking for a picturesque break, the seaside villages of Howth and Balbriggan to the north, and Sandycove, Killiney and Dalkey to the south, are only a short bus ride away.

Readers need to collect the three passwords to access the website and book free seats.

Seats must be booked between Wednesday and midnight on Friday, and must be booked seven days before the outward flight.

Travel must be between December 9 and January 31 (excluding December 19 to January 5).
