A PENSIONER appeared in court yesterday charged with sex offences.
Michael Doherty, 67, appeared at Hartlepool Magistrates' Court charged with three counts of indecent assault on a male under the age of 14, three counts of indecent assault on a female under the age of 14 and indecency with a girl.
The offences were said to have taken place between December 2001 and September 2003. Mr Doherty, from Elliott Street, Hartlepool, was granted bail and the case was adjourned.
