VOLUNTARY and community groups are to meet to review plans for the future of a town.
A public consultation is currently being carried out on a new draft of a community strategy for Chester-le-Street, looking at the district's social, economic and environmental well-being through a number of initiatives.
The strategy is being developed by the Local Strategic Partnership, made up of local organisations and community groups, who will be looking at the latest draft on Wednesday at the Chester-le-Street Volunteer Bureau from 10.30am.
