PRIMARY school pupils from the Yarm area are taking part in a netball tournament this weekend.
Teesside Preparatory and High School, in Eaglescliffe, is hosting the Invitation High Fives Netball Tournament as part of its open day today, when two home teams will be taking on Egglescliffe Church of England School and Lingfield School, Yarm.
The ten and 11-year-olds will compete in a round robin competition, changing positions after each game.
Lower-sixth students from the high school's community sports leaders group are helping to organise the tournament, which starts at 10.15am.
The trophy and medal presentation will take place at 11.45am.
