A guided walk takes place today along a routes taken by sanctuary seekers heading for Durham Cathedral.
The 11-mile walk follows a route from Witton Gilbert to Durham.
Walkers are asked to meet at St Michael and All Angels Church, south of the A691, at Witton Gilbert, at 10am, and to take a packed lunch.
