MORE than 30 producers from three small parishes in the North York Moors will showcase their skills and products at an exhibition in Danby later this month.
The exhibition, at Danby Village Hall, includes everything from chainsaw sculptures to eggs.
It aims to let local people know what they can buy on their doorstep.
Among those taking part is Pat Richardson, of Great Fryupdale, who paints canal bargeware - the enamel pots and watering cans that adorn barges and narrow boats.
She said: "Each region had its own style of painting. The barge owners painted such floral designs because they didn't have their own gardens, so would try to create one in paint."
Beekeeper John Randles will display his honey and Moira Thompson, who owns Postgate Plants, will also show her creations.
Mrs Thompson claims to have done all her Christmas shopping locally at farm gates, artists' studios and village shops.
She said: "I got friendly service, unique gifts, free delivery and a glass of mulled wine thrown in. What more could I ask for?"
As well as local producers and their wares, the event features entertainment, such as sea shanties, flute and piano recitals, readings by a local author and a performance by Henwen female vocalists.
Many of the producers will be demonstrating their skills and passing on trade secrets and knowledge.
Free tasters will also be available, along with refreshments made from local produce.
The exhibition is open from 10am-4pm on Saturday, January 21.
Free parking is available in Danby and the village hall is close to the railway station.
