Bishop Auckland manager Brian Honour has told his players not to get carried away after five successive wins.

Bishops have won the UniBond Team of the Month award for their January exploits, and in midweek they reached the Durham Challenge Cup final.

They visit struggling Kendal today and Honour said: "We have to be careful. We went to clubs like Chorley and Stocksbridge earlier in the season when we thought they were struggling, and lost.

"But confidence is really good and I expect us to improve even more in the weeks ahead."

Midfielder Sean Hope is missing today, but full back Chris Mason returns after missing the midweek win at Jarrow.

Spennymoor's hopes of signing full back Mark Robinson on loan for a third month have been dashed, and he'll miss today's game at Radcliffe Borough.

Manager Tony Lee said: "He's trying to find a Football League club over the rest of the season. He wants to stay in the League."

Defender Micky Gough and midfielder Neil Bishop are suspended, while striker Justin Perry has been released, so Lee has recalled former Hartlepool midfielder Jon Cullen to the squad. "We're down to the bare bones," he said.

Whitby recall midfielder Craig Veart to their squad at home to Southport.
