AN entrepreneur is to showcase a new kind of professional wrestling, thanks to help from business advisors.
Alan Johns, of York, was helped to draw up a business plan and secure a loan to turn his idea into reality.
An Ultimate Fighting Organisation event is now being planned at the Leeds Corn Exchange, on March 14 and 15, in which a number of matches between wrestlers will take place.
He sought help from the York, Selby and Malton Business Advice Centre, which delivers services on behalf of Business Link York and North Yorkshire.
He attended a series of workshops received help from business advisor Peter Dale.
Mr Dale said: "The York, Selby and Malton Business Advice Centre helps a lot of businesses, but this is one of the more unusual business ideas I have been involved with."
