THE talents of the 105 men and women at a centre for adults with learning difficulties were showcased to employers yesterday.
Dozens of employers from across the Tees Valley enjoyed breakfast and a tour of the Upsall Hall Rural Centre, near Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, to see the work of those at the training centre.
The centre, run by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, has eight trainees in outside paid employment.
Centre manager Derek Enderby said: "If we can show employers what we are capable of, it will undoubtedly promote a better understanding of what we're trying to do here."
Employment training opportunities at the centre include retail, catering, ceramics, woodwork/metalwork, horticulture and farming.
