SCIENTISTS are visiting a school for National Science Week.
The Hermitage School, in Chester-le-Street, will host representatives from commercial and public sector organisations on March 18.
They will give interactive presentations to more than 500 students on forensics, ecology, medicine, pharmaceuticals and engineering.
The event has been organised by the school in conjunction with the local education authority and the Business Liaison Team.
Members of the community have a chance to watch the free science presentations. To take part, contact the school on 0191-389 7161 before Friday, March 12.
