COLOURFUL creations made during an arts week have been installed at a library.
In the summer, Lord Lawson of Beamish School, in Birtley, near Chester-le-Street, held a creative arts week for more than 4,000 pupils and 300 staff from primary schools across Tyneside and Wearside.
One of the workshops involved children creating stained glass windows with the help of a professional glass artist.
A competition was held to find the best five designs, and they have now been installed in Birtley Library.
