A good attendance of club members was welcomed at The Wheatsheaf Inn, Staindrop. Thanks are due to Maurice and Trudy for their support of the club throughout the year.

All of the club officers were re-elected.

The team captains gave a positive report regarding team spirit with some excellent performances from both teams.

However, the need for new (and young) members is required, as some of are nearly past their best.

To this end the committee are actively seeking sponsorship to purchase new practice equipment so the club's youngsters can train and develop in safety.

The First Team narrowly missed relegation from the A Division with the Second XI scraping into mid-table in the C Division.

The club gave many thanks to the tea ladies with Claire Jackson and Pat Taylor keeping the second team in order.

A vote of thanks was proposed to Peter Jackson for his sterling work over many years for the club.

Pre-season indoor nets will start on February 25 2004 7.30-9pm at Barnard Castle School. All present and any potential new members very welcome. Fee £1.50 per session. juniors free.
