WHEAT prices have been under pressure over the last week as the fall in the dollar has meant European prices have had to fall to remain competitive in the export market. The UK still has about 600,000 tonnes to sell to balance the books before the end of the season.
Oilseed prices have wobbled about, despite rises in US soya oil markets. This is still due to a balancing act between low US soya supplies, high South American supplies and the outbreaks of avian flu in US.
