Yet another excellent performance by one of the league's most consistant sides, Nestfield, who beat Brinkburn Wanderers 6-0.

Nestfield played some first class football with a superb display of one-touch passing and should have been well out sight by half time.

But it was a fine display by the Wanderers keeper Frazer Gallagher that kept the score down to 2-0 at half time with the home side's goals coming from debutant Dean Lawson and Adi Weston.

The second 45 minutes were played much as the first as Nesffield continued to dominate as Rod Brown made it 3-0, then Weston grabbed his second with a 30 yard left foot volley into the top corner to make it four.

Man of the match Brown then found the net for a second time, Weston missed a chance of a hat trick when he failed to convert a spot kick, but his third goal came with a right footed shot to make the final score 6-0 to the home side.

Killinghall Arms played hosts to AFC Brinkburn and both sides came away with a point Sean Rochford and Paul Walker on target for the home side, while Stuart Wayper and Steve Appleby, got on the scoresheet for the visitors to make the final score 2-2.
