ELDERLY people in east Durham have another chance to ask about Pension Credit.
A series of advice sessions are to be held in the Murton area as part of the "Pick it up, it's yours'' campaign.
Pension Credit replaces the Minimum Income Guarantee providing a guaranteed level of income for everyone aged over 60 or over of £102.10 a week for a single person or £155.80 a week for couples.
Representatives from the council's benefits team will also give advice on housing and council tax benefits at the sessions on Monday, February 23, in MacRae House, Sea View Walk, Murton from 11am to 12.30pm and at Clarke House, Barnes Road, Murton between 5.30pm and 7pm.
A session also takes place on February 26 at McNally House, Bevan Square, Murton from noon to 1.30pm
