A YOUTH service will be hosting the North-East Regional Youth Assembly for the first time today.
The assembly meets every six to eight weeks to discuss issues affecting young people, such as the reclassification of cannabis. It is an outlet for young people to air their views.
The Engaging Young People project, from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Youth Project, is hosting the event at the City Learning Centre, in Eston.
Darren Smith, 18, and Lisa Lethbridge, 16, from Loftus and Rachel Leonard, 17, from Guisborough, and Tom Lobley, 16, from Redcar, from the borough's youth forum, will meet the 25 other young representatives from around the North-East
