THE Friends of Hillside Cemetery, a group campaigning for the refurbishment of a historic burial ground in Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside, held a tidy-up at the weekend.
The group aims soon to start work on the restoration of the cemetery, on rocky high ground adjacent to the A690.
