A TRIAL change is to be made to the circuit pattern flown by aircraft from an RAF base.
Details of the change are being finalised by RAF Linton-on-Ouse, near York, Hambleton District Council and Harrogate Borough Council, but it is anticipated that the 12-month trial will start within the next few weeks.
The westerly runway will change from a left-hand to a right-hand pattern and the north-easterly runway will change from a right-hand to a left-hand pattern
The two councils will monitor the trials throughout, helped by statistics from the base and there will be a full review after six months.
