THE last time Jill Campbell visited London she was a wide-eyed schoolgirl looking forward to seeing the sights.

After her next visit to the capital, she could become the star of a new reality television show.

Jill, 25, from Hartlepool, is filming 4 Go Dating from this weekend, which will be screened on Channel 4 in late April or early May.

The customer services advisor will be one of four girls sharing a £1.5m loft apartment in central London for a week, while four guys stay in a separate flat.

They date one another throughout the week, and come together for a speed dating session and a final party to discover who loved and loathed who.

Ms Campbell said: "I'm really excited and can't wait, but I'm getting a bit nervous about it now too. I haven't been to London since I was 13, so I'm sure I will find it quite different but I'm really looking forward to it.

"We don't know where our dates will be to, but I want to go on the London Eye and The Ivy restaurant to see if I can meet any celebrities."

Ms Campbell's name was put forward by Sarah Vassey, her friend and colleague at the T-Mobile call centre at Doxford Park, Sunderland. Sarah had been approached by researchers when she was shopping in Newcastle.

Programme-makers rang Ms Campbell the following day, but she ignored the call because she was unsure about the screen test.

She plucked up the courage to call back later, and arranged to meet - and impressed them at her audition.

"I never even worried about what I was going to say or what the questions might be because I never thought I'd get on," Ms Campbell said. "Then they phoned and said I'd been shortlisted, and then they got in touch again to say I was going.

"I couldn't believe it, but now I can't wait. They are sick of me at work, going on about it all the time."
