ELDERLY residents are being disturbed by people tapping on their windows at night.
People living in the Poets Corner area of Park East, in Darlington, have reported the nuisance late at night or in the early hours.
At this week's Neighbourhood Watch meeting one resident said: "I'm scared, I have to sleep with a light on."
Carol Angus, police community support officer, said she would speak to residents individually about the issue.
