FEMALE supporters of the Macmillan County Durham Appeal are in for a treat next month.
Christine Cartwright, a North-East cosmetics expert, is giving a talk and demonstration on the art of make-up.
The event, which will help raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Relief appeal to improve services in County Durham, will be held in Whitworth Hall and Country Park, near Spennymoor, on Wednesday, May 12.
Cameo Fine Arts, a specialist interiors shop, will also have a stall at the event.
Ticket prices for the evening with Christine Cartwright cost £12.50.
The event opens at 6.30pm and the talk begins at 7pm.
To purchase tickets send a cheque made payable to Macmillan Durham Appeal, with a stamped, addressed envelope, to Caroline Broadfoot, Macmillan Cancer Relief, 1 Frederick Street South, Meadowfield, Durham DH7 8LZ.
