HAIRDRESSERS from around the North-East will descend on a show in the region next week.
More than 500 trainee hairdressers will celebrate their successes and showcase their talent at the event at The Gate, in Newcastle.
The event is being organised by North-East-based hairdressing trainers BL Hairdressing Training, and is sponsored by TiGi hair products.
BL Hairdressing has training centres across the North-East, and offers courses for 16 to 24-year-olds. The highlight of the evening will be a catwalk show, with models showing the work of some of the region's stylists.
The Learning and Skills Council Tees Valley funds all the courses offered by BL Hairdressing.
