MGM Mirage and a British developer have announced plans to build casinos in three cities and an entertainment complex in a fourth.
MGM Mirage and Peel Holdings put the value of the developments in Manchester, Salford, Glasgow and Liverpool at £600m.
The plans still need local government approval and changes in UK gambling laws.
