POET and comedian John Hegley is preparing for a show to help Arts in Richmondshire.
He will appear at Richmond Town Hall on Thursday, May 27, at 7.30pm, to help the arts development agency identify and encourage people who share a love of writing and literature.
Mr Hegley has regular spots on BBC Radio 4 and has published seven best-selling volumes of poetry.
His Richmond show will be suitable for all ages. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children. They are available from Richmond Tourist Information Centre, on (01748) 850252, and Leyburn Tourist Information Centre, on (01969) 623069.
