Willington reached the semi-finals when they defeated Washington in a delayed quarter-final tie, writes MALCOLM PRATT.
When they made first use of the wicket Washington were all out for 73 which included 32 by Lee. Lee Tinkler was in outstanding form with the ball for Willington conceding only 11 runs in five overs taking five wickets while Chris Moore gave admirable support with two for 26 from the four overs he delivered.
When they went into bat Willington accumulated the necessary runs without conceding a wicket. Moore ended unbeaten with 33 which included four boundaries while Jonathan Askew carried his bat for 38 hitting one six and four fours.
Willington will have advantage over Langley Park while Evenwood will host Brandon in the other semi-final.
