Sedgefield Village Twinning Association's bi-annual visit to its German twin town, Hamminkeln, coincided with celebrations to mark the 750th anniversary of the founding of the town.
Among the invited guests at the event was the Mayor of Sedgefield, Councillor Jim Wayman, and his wife, Mavis, and Councillor Keith Wells and his wife, Nancy, from Sedgefield Twinning Association.
The next event being planned by the Sedgefield Twinning Association will be a barbecue, on July 24, in Ceddesfeld Hall.
