THE Queen Mary 2 will be spotted in the region next month.
The largest and most expensive passenger ship ever built will be visable from the shore on Monday, July 12, as it heads from Edinburgh to the Norwegian coast.
Weather permitting, it will be seen from Whitby at 4pm, Scarborough at 2.30pm, Redcar 5pm, Hartlepool 5.40pm, Sunderland 6.30pm and 7.30pm at Tynemouth.
