THE work of Darlington fashion students could be shown on a London catwalk if it is successful in a design competition next week.
Students studying for a National Diploma in fashion and design at the town's College of Technology have entered their work in the regional heats of the Can U Cut It competition, which aims to encourage future designers.
Emily Carter-Gibson, Jodie Richardson and Holly Avery, who are all 18 and from Darlington, are hoping their designs will go forward to the national competition and be paraded on a catwalk at the London College of Fashion next month.
The competition was set up by Skillfast-UK, the skills council for clothing, footwear and textiles.
