A YANKEE Doodle Day will be held at North-East racecourse on Sunday to celebrate Independence Day in the US.
There will be a variety of US-themed promotions and attractions at the family event at Redcar, east Cleveland, including Disney characters, go karts and a bouncy castle.
The gates will open at 12.20pm and racegoers will be entertained by The Crew Dance Troupe and The New Orleans Jazz Band.
During the afternoon, racegoers can also enter a racecard competition offering a week's family holiday to Orlando, Florida, in February.
Action on the track starts at 2.20pm.
Family tickets for Redcar's other Sunday meeting, on August 8, will be on sale at £5, which provides admission into the family enclosure for two adults and children.
