THE streets of Darlington were taken over by a host of mythical figures for the annual community carnival.
Youngsters shrugged off the rain on Saturday to put on a spectacular procession with the theme of Myths and Legends, above.
Awards for the best procession floats were presented to Red Hall Community Centre and Darlington Association on Disability.
