FUNDRAISERS in north Durham are celebrating after they were recognised by their parent group.
Derwentside Rotary Club, which was set up in February, has received the club charter.
It was presented by Rotary's district governor, David Conway.
To mark the occasion, the club presented an aqua-filter and £500 to Rotary International's foundation.
The event was dedicated to former member Janet McCluskie, who died in March.
