PARKLAND surrounding an out-of-town retail centre will be officially opened tomorrow.
Easington District Council leader Alan Napier will cut the ribbon at the Sky Gate entrance to the nature and community site created on former colliery wasteland surrounding Dalton Park, at Murton, east Durham.
After he has cut the ribbon, Coun Napier will join local schoolchildren to plant a tree near the entrance, shortly after 11am.
