Oak Lodge got back into winning ways this week, after their defeat at Great Smeaton last week. Oak Lodge got the double over Thimbleby this season.
Oak Lodge scored the highest total of the week with a 184 to Thimblebys 155. Oak Lodge's Gary Attwood, Paul Coulson and John Hutchinson all top scored with 24s.
Urlay Nook cemented their second position and continued their push for the title with their sixth successive home win of the season. This time the unfortunate opponents were Spennymoor. The final scores were 166 to 144. Alan Menhennet and Dave Gales from Urlay Nook were the top scorers in the match with 22s.
Great Smeaton moved seamlessly up to third position with their first away win of the season. Hardwick Hall have yet to break their duck, but were only 3 clays away from their first point of the season. The final scores were 174 to 171. Paul Foster from Great Smeaton, who looks favourite to win the individual championship, was top shot with a 24.
Marne also had a close call this week and by only 3 clays. Stokesley brought every one they could find to Marne to try and get their second away win of the season, but to no avail. The final scores were 152 to 149 in favour of Marne. Crack shot of the match was Marne's captain Tony Masters.
