AIRMAN Chris Thompson-Chambers and his bride Victoria Shaw ensured their wedding blessing was an historic occasion.
Mr Thompson-Chambers, 24, a senior aircraftsman based at RAF Leeming, and his 27-year-old bride, from Selby, share a love of history so they held their blessing at the Yorkshire Air Museum, in Elvington, near York.
After a ceremony in the museum's chapel they took over the former bomber base's function rooms for a 1940s-style reception.
In keeping with the theme of the occasion, many of the 50 guests wore period costume.
