ROTARY members from Stokesley and Hartlepool joined forces to make sure a group of disadvantaged children had a day out to remember.

Last year the Teesside branch of Chernobyl Children's Life Line organised a holiday for a party of children from Belarus, each suffering the health effects from the Chernobyl disaster.

This year Stokesley Rotary Club sponsored one child's travel costs and provided a day out for all the group.

The Stokesley group also approached Hartlepool Rotary Club and agreed to fund a coach to take the party to Hartlepool for the day.

They also were given rides in a Rolls Royce, Range Rover and stretch limo to Seaton Carew and met the Harley Davidson Geordie Chapter group
