IT is 37 years since Paul Richardson tackled long-distance running.
The former teenage county runner, now aged 56 and a Tory North Yorkshire County councillor, is preparing for the 13-mile Great North Run on September 26 to raise money for groups which champion carers. To sponsor Councillor Richardson, contact (01609) 780780.
