A business from the region will visit Brazil next month to take part in an oil and gas show.
Headley-Purvis, based in Morpeth, is hoping to make inroads into Brazil's power industry. The company is among 46 companies helped by UK Trade and Investment, the government's trade development operation, to attend the Rio Oil and Gas Show at the start of next month.
The company will join 1,000 exhibitors from 35 countries.
