DOG owners who do not clean up after their pets in Hartlepool's cemeteries are being told they will be prosecuted.
Craig Thelwell, of Hartlepool Council, said: "It isn't pleasant for people who are visiting the cemeteries to put flowers on graves to have to plough their way through piles of dog dirt.
