TEENAGERS from Durham have enjoyed a trip on the high seas.
Amy Haswell and Kaleung Lam, of New College, Durham, were among youngsters who helped to crew a Tall Ship as it sailed from Great Yarmouth to the Tyne.
Also on board the Tall Ships Youth Trust vessel, the Prince William, as it arrived on Tyneside were 16-year-olds Laura Henderson, Stuart McCrorie, David Rose and Kevin Proctor, who were all GCSE students at Stanley School of Technology.
The 60m square-rigged brig will join the Tall Ships fleet on Tyneside next summer.
