There is no change at the top of the table after leaders Stokesley SC and Darlington RA both won by an only goal.

Stokesley had their work cut out at Cleadon SC and there was little between the sides throughout the 90 minutes. The result was settled in the 20th minute when Nathan Haslam scored from a free kick.

Darlington RA had only five minutes to spare when they clinched victory at Harton and Westoe. Former Shildon player Nigel Bolton struck to earn RA their ninth win in ten outings. They remain just a point behind Stokesley with a game in hand.

Although they remain third, Coxhoe Athletic lost ground when they went down at home to Cleator Moor Celtic who have moved into sixth position. Lee Thistlethwaite gave Coxhoe a tenth-minute lead but the home side suffered a blow early in the second half when Andrew Richardson was sent off.

Cleator Moor made their numerical advantage count, equalising on the hour through Craig Scott and just before the end, Michael Fiddler claimed the winner.

Birtley Town are fourth following their 2-1 defeat of Wolviston whose impressive four-match winning sequence was ended despite the fact they scored first through Paul Griffiths.

Almost immediately Ross Preston levelled and with 13 minutes remaining, Michael Ford was on target to help earn Birtley three crucial points.

Jarrow went down 3-2 at Windscale for whom Lee Dixon bagged a brace within 14 minutes. Although Paul O'Brien reduced the deficit before Joe Shepherd made the score 3-1 and the game was into the last minute when John Grant scored Jarrow's second goal.

Shotton Comrades romped to an 8-2 win over Washington Nissan UK as the goals flowed from Robert Wardle (3), Stephen Monahan, Tom Orchard, Michael Pittan, Michael Watson and Michael Bradley.

Ryhope CW also scored eight goals at Ferryhill Athletic who managed just one in reply from Andrew Howard. Interestingly, the Wearsiders led by only a single goal at the halfway stage but dominated the second period.

Stephen Rochester and Carl Robb both hit hat-tricks with Brian Smailes and Anthony Holmes also on target.

Craig Mendum gave New Marske a tenth-minute advantage but after Graham Lilly levelled from the penalty spot, Jonathan Wright struck an 86th-minute winner for Whitehaven.

Sport Catterick defeated Boldon CA 3-2 with goals by Carl Hanley and Nicky Lyons (2). David Hopper scored both the Boldon goals.
