PLANS to return a landmark building on Hartlepool's Headland to its former glory are gathering pace.
Talks are under way to try to secure the final funding needed to start restoration of the Carnegie Building. Funds have been earmarked by the North Hartlepool Partnership and the council but more is needed. Talks are being held with the Heritage Lottery Fund.
