KEEN walkers are being invited to join a guided walk of woodlands this weekend.
Sedgefield Borough Council's Countryside team is leading the event which will take place around the woodlands of Spennymoor on Saturday.
The start will be at the car park to the rear of Spennymoor Town Hall, at 10am.
Those taking part will be able to meander through the Bobby Shafto Estate and maybe catch a glimpse of roe deer. People are advised to wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch.
