TWO long-serving members of staff at a Durham City bakery have been recognised for their dedication.
Nicola Jacobs and Mary Varley, who work at the Greggs Bakery in the city, were among 130 of the company's employees invited to a presentation at St James' Park, Newcastle, this week.
Ms Varley has been with the company for 20 years, while Ms Jacobs has been an employee for 15 years.
Ms Jacobs said: "There is a great team spirit throughout the company and over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed my work and made so many friends along the way"
Regional managing director Graham Randell said: "The long service awards ceremony is a key event in the Greggs calendar because it is an opportunity to thank and congratulate our employees on their hard work and loyalty throughout the years."
