A nursery in Darlington has celebrated its first anniversary with a party and a cake.
Kids and Co, in the town's North Road, was officially opened by Tony Blair last year, and has since had an Ofsted inspection, which was described as good.
A nursery spokeswoman said: "After a successful first year, the nursery is hoping to build on its achievements.
"One of the main aims is to complete the Darlington Quality Assurance Kitemark Scheme in the hope of achieving Investors in Children status."
