POLICE have arrested 12 people in raids as part of a long-running operation.
Officers began Operation Aerial last October into the supply of cocaine and crack cocaine in Newcastle.
A number of houses in Newcastle and Gateshead were searched on Monday and Tuesday. Cannabis worth £2,000 was recovered along with money.
Six people have been charged and six have been bailed pending inquiries,
