YOUNGSTERS looked ahead to brighter times yesterday as they began preparing for spring.
The children at Darlington's Kids and Co Nursery planted bulbs in their garden area at the town hall.
The session was part of their lessons about nature and their local surroundings.
Staff from the nursery said that the youngsters were looking forward to seeing the colourful fruits of their labours next year.
