A MOTHER-OF-TEN will have even more youngsters around her after opening a 40-place children's nursery.
Marian Cornforth has five sons and five daughters and has been a registered childminder for more than 17 years.
She has set up Goulton Grange Day Nursery at the 250-acre organic farm that she shares with her husband, Robin, at Potto, near Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
Their eldest son Oliver, 21, works alongside his father, and their daughter Emily, 20, helps her mother run the nursery. The remaining boys and girls, the youngest, Jasper, two, all lend a hand around the farm or at the nursery.
Richmond MP William Hague was at the farm to open the nursery, which has been set up in converted farm buildings.
Mrs Cornforth said: "I suppose you could say I love having children around. We have lots of fun and the children get to learn about life on a farm. I'm thrilled that Mr Hague found time to visit us, meet my family and formally open the new nursery."
