A BATH lift company is celebrating record sales figures and winning a new contract.
Aquajoy Bath Lifts, in Consett, has seen a 61 per cent growth in year-on-year sales.
The firm has been awarded a three-year contract as preferred supplier to County Durham Supplies Consortium, which provides equipment for the NHS.
Hugh Malone, managing director, said, "Everyone at AquaJoy is thrilled to have been awarded preferred supplier for our local county contract."
Paul Allison, community equipment and facilities manager for Durham and Chester-le-Street Primary Care Trust, said: "AquaJoy met all the criteria and it was good to see a local company with a strong focus on patient needs."
