HEALTH worker and children's author Rusty Wise delighted youngsters when she dropped in with her new book.
Rusty is a healthcare assistant at the Lambert Hospital in Thirsk and has just completed her first book, the adventures of a honeybee called Belinda.
Belinda Bee's Busy Year tells of Belinda's adventures through the four seasons of the year as she gathers nectar and pollen to make honey for her growing family.
Youngsters at the Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust's children's centre in Northallerton heard the story from the author at a special reading and signing session.
Rusty, who plans to publish another two books about Belinda said: "My aim is to raise awareness amongst children of the value of honey as a pure and natural food."
