RESIDENTS will discuss the future of their village at a public meeting tonight.
West Auckland Parish Council is urging people to attend the meeting at 7pm, in the Methodist Church Hall, in Millbank.
Questionnaires that have already been completed by residents as part of the parish plan will be discussed.
Coun Martin Roberts, chairman of the parish plan working party, said: "We want to ask residents how we can maintain the good things in our village and also solve the problems that have been identified.
"The questionnaire revealed a number of concerns, such as crime and traffic levels, as well as highlighting the opportunities for improving areas to make them more attractive."
